Army Debt

More soldiers are losing security clearances because of mounting personal debt.

The Associated Press reports the number of Army troops stripped of security clearances has doubled in the past year.

The Army believes soldiers returning from overseas combat are financially overextending themselves, celebrating.

The Army also says soldiers with large debts are less focused on their job and more prone to taking bribes.
