Driver Faces Judge in Taylor University Car Crash

The truck driver responsible for an accident that killed five people from Taylor University was in court Wednesday.

Robert Spencer went before a Grant County judge to try and get his $75,000 bond reduced.

Spencer was charged with five counts of reckless homicide for the April crash near Marion.

The judge refused to lower Spencer's bond at Wednesday’s hearing.

The crash made national news when one of the students killed was misidentified for weeks as another classmate.
