Lawyers for Jeff Pelley were back in court Wednesday trying to get the man convicted of murdering four members of his family a new trial.
Last month they filed a motion saying there is new evidence in the case and Pelley should be retried.
They say a woman overheard some teens talking about murdering a pastor before the Pelley family was murdered.
Pelley's father was a pastor. The woman was not heard from at Pelley's trial because neither side knew she existed.
Prosecutors say they have since interviewed her and her story conflicts with what the defense says she told them.
Judge Roland Chamblee will now decide whether or not Pelley gets a retrial.
