The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a Granger man.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was called Wednesday afternoon to a home in the 52000 block of Gumwood, just south of Brick Road.
Police tell us the body of 32-year-old Andrew Selent was discovered inside that home Wednesday morning. Police are investigating whether his death is a homicide or he died of natural causes. According to a report, Selent was on blood thinners for health issues.
Police tell us Selent is the same man who was shot just last week outside the Torch, a South Bend strip club.
Charges were filed Tuesday in connection with last week's shooting at the club.
Stephen Dowling, 44, of South Bend faces a charge of felony battery with a deadly weapon.
Witnesses say Dowling and another man were arguing in the parking lot, when Dowling fired a shot into the ground.
That is when 32-year old, Andrew Selent, allegedly reached for the gun and was shot in the hip area.
According to a witness at the shooting, both Dowling and Selent were former or present members of the Hells Angels motorcycle club.
The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit continues to investigate this death.
