It looks like the College Football Hall of Fame will remain in South Bend despite money concerns.
The city council voted in favor of a five year interim agreement with the National Football Foundation, the hall's parent organization.
Mayor Steve Luecke negotiated the deal.
The foundation recently announced plans to move from New Jersey to Texas and there is been talk that the Hall of Fame would follow.
The College Football Hall of Fame has been in South Bend since 1995.
