An Elkhart man was arrested Tuesday on charges of child neglect.
Lander Johnson, 27, faces is accused of beating his girlfriend's son.
The 2-year-old was airlifted to the hospital on November 17th with life-threatening injuries, he remains in intensive care.
Johnson is being held without bond. A probable cause hearing is set for Wednesday.
The case is still under investigation.
