Police have not been able to identify a man who was struck and killed by a jeep when crossing an Elkhart County Road Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian was hit on County Road Six, east of Elkhart County Road Eleven, around six o-clock.
The driver of the Jeep Cherokee said he never saw the man until it was too late.
Police say the victim, who they believe is around 30 years old, was not carrying any identification.
The crash investigation team is still looking into the accident.
