NYPD Investigate Deadly Shooting

New York City's Police Department is investigating why five undercover officers fired off 50 rounds of gunshots on three unarmed men.

The shooting left one man dead and has triggered outrage within the community.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he is "deeply disturbed" by the incident.

The gunfire killed a groom on his wedding day.

Monday morning, Bloomberg met with community leaders, including the reverend Al Sharpton, to discuss the shooting that took place Saturday outside a Queens strip club.

Bloomberg says it seems like "excessive force was used."

Mayor Bloomberg said this regarding the matter, "What exactly happened, I just don't know. I can tell you that it is, to me, unacceptable or inexplicable how you can have 50-odd shots fired, but that's up for the investigation to find out what really happened."

The groom was killed and his two friends were wounded after a bachelor party at the strip club.
