There was a false alarm at one of the country's most famous landmarks Monday.
The Lincoln memorial in Washington D.C. was closed and tourists were evacuated after some suspicious items were found.
A U.S. government official says a vial of what appeared to be a liquid substance was found in a restroom at the memorial.
An envelope with the word Anthrax on it was also found nearby.
But, HAZMAT specialists on the scene found nothing hazardous.
