Heroin is becoming a big problem in Indiana.
Authorities say the drug is becoming more prevalent in the Hoosier state.
The Indiana State police Estimate they will investigate nearly 700 heroin cases this year.
That is twice as many as last year, and triple the number of cases in 2004.
Police say that if heroin continues to become more popular, there could be an increase in burglaries, thefts and robberies as addicts steal to feed their habit.
