The Michiana community is pulling together to help a local toddler diagnosed with a serious medical condition.
13 months ago, Paige James was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
Sunday, her family held a fundraiser and auction at Elkhart's Gubi's restaurant and lounge.
Money raised will help cover Paige's medical bills and medications.
She has had ten surgeries this year and gone through chemotherapy.
The family says the outpouring of support has been overwhelming.
Paige’s Aunt, Rochelle Maddux remarks, “This is incredible, the turnout is incredible. I just can't believe it. We did this in less than two weeks. We put it together. We've had 100s of donations, people have been so generous. Elkhart has been awesome.”
Local businesses and friends helped donate items for today's auction.
Paige will be two years old next week.
