Warm Weather Means Christmas Decorating Time

Another thing people can be found doing the day after Thanksgiving: putting up Christmas decorations.

Outside One Michiana Square Friday, a maintenance crew for the aptly named Holladay Corporation was busy decorating the building.

Crew members were thankful for the warmer-than-normal weather to get the job done.

"We've got bolts that have been up there for years. We hang them from those bolts we put in many years ago. We just hang 'em up there and wire 'em off," explains Eric Lindamood, Christmas Decorator. "Today is a gorgeous day! We lucked out."

Their job will require them to use even bigger equipment next week. That is when they will use a crane to put up a 45-foot tall decoration on the side of a building on Colfax Avenue.
