A group of neighbors came out Wednesday to try and block a South Bend bar's liquor license.
Stude's Lounge's license was up for review and some residents came out with a petition and plenty of opinions.
More than a dozen people spoke before the Alcohol and Tobacco Board, but most spoke in favor of the bar.
"We've talked to the city. They don't see a problem because there isn't a problem. There is a perceived problem and the perceived problem is due to the fact that there's certain people that don't like what is referred to as that crowd, whatever that crowd is," explains Eric Dunn, Security.
“The activities at this bar, the harassment of neighbors, the urination in their yards, the debris in their yards, this has to stop,” says Edward Harding, who is the attorney for area neighbors.
In the end, the board agreed with the bar. The members decided since the city had no problem with their license, they would approve its renewal.
