South Bend Regional Airport appears to be THEE place to fly in and out of this holiday season. More than 3,200 people are expected to make their way through the airport everyday and the day before Thanksgiving every flight was booked full.
More than 38 million people will be traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday. 5 million by plane and 2 million by train. According to T.S.A., more than 42,000 items of luggage are lost every day. The number will increase over the holiday season.
