Before the Norte Dame game even started, fans were treated to quite a display.
Parachutists from the US Army's Golden Knights literally jumped into the stadium delivering the game ball and a Charlie Weis autographed ball.
The Golden Knights jumped from 3500 feet, doing what they call a stack maneuver, which is when jumpers exit the plane one right after the other.
“It's fun, it's really really fun. Sometimes the crowd gets so loud that you can actually feel the vibration in your parachute, it's very very cool. Entering the stadium on a parachute, hearing the crowd explode, it's just a great feeling,” explains Sgt. Joe Abeln, Golden Knights Parachutist.
The Golden Knights tell us they travel the country with their shows 270 days a year.
