Last Pep Rally at Home for Irish Football Season

The Irish close out their home season this Saturday at Notre Dame stadium!

For the seniors, it's the last time they'll play in South Bend.

“Ladies and Gentlemen.. Here is your Notre dame football senior class,” the announcer said.

Although this pep rally is meant to honor the seniors on the team, it's for the seniors in the crowd too!

“I'm really sad but I'm a cheerleader though so I’m generally going to be upbeat about it but it’s been an amazing ride and I couldn't ask for any or different way,” says Brooke Mohr.

It's the last home game but it’s hard to ignore the hype surrounding a game that will be played in January.

“We have this exciting home game coming up, exciting road game after that, and hopefully we are playing in the biggest bowl game in the country!” announced Coach Charlie Weis.

Fans are excited about what could come for their favorite senior quarterback.

“He's got another month or so where he say he's Notre dame's most recent Heisman trophy winner,” Notre Dame’s Leprechaun Kevin Braun said about the most recent Irish trophy winner Tim Brown.

Brown spoke at the rally and told seniors to remember Saturday forever.

“Its a day you will never forget whether you are out on the football field or out in the stands.. it will be your last time to be in that stadium and to make this place rock,” Brown said.

That's the idea not just for the seniors but all the fans, as they focus on this weekend's game in South Bend and not in Ohio.

“I really couldn't care less what happens in that game they will have to kick me out of the stadium tomorrow for sure.. because I will be in no hurry to have left my last home game,” Braun exclaimed!
