Keyes in court after Notre Dame protests
St. Joseph County, IN He went up against President Barack Obama for an Illinois Senate seat, and now Alan Keyes is headed to court for two trespassing charges after protesting on Notre Dame’s campus.

He went up against President Barack Obama for an Illinois Senate seat, and now Alan Keyes is headed to court for two trespassing charges after protesting on Notre Dame’s campus.
Keyes was arrested when he led a group of anti-abortion rights demonstrators onto Notre Dame's campus the week before President Obama spoke at the university's commencement ceremony.
Keyes lost to Obama in the 2004 Illinois Senate race.
He is set to appear in traffic and misdemeanor court at 8 a.m.
