An Indiana man was hospitalized Friday, after he accidentally shot himself in the stomach.
Police say 40-year-old Robert Greenwood, was walking through a field in Marshall County, when he apparently slipped and his shotgun went off.
Greenwood was able to get back in his truck and pull out onto State Road 110.
He also used his cell phone to call 911.
Police say Greenwood was not hunting on his own property, and they are investigating whether he broke any state hunting laws.
Greenwood is listed in serious condition.
