US Airways Hopes to Buy Delta Airlines
US Airways is putting in a bid to buy Delta Airlines.
US Airways announced Wednesday morning they wanted to buy Delta for $8 billion dollars in cash and stock.
Their offer would go into effect once Delta gets out of bankruptcy.
Atlanta based Delta is the third largest airline in the country. US Airways is the fifth largest.
