It is official: the South Bend Community School Corporation held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday for its brand new administrative building.
The new building has been in use since the school year began.
Wednesday's open house was the first opportunity for many South Bend School employees to take a tour.
The administrative building has six floors, which will house 140 employees and plenty of meeting space.
South Bend Superintendent Robert Zimmerman says the new location is one of the building's best features.
It is located on St. Joseph Street in downtown South Bend.
