More than 60 people combed the crash area Monday night, looking for the plane's passengers.
Officials say the fields were so muddy people with three and four wheelers were called to help.
Volunteer firefighters, coroner's office employees and neighbors all pitched in to lend a hand.
"It makes me feel really good to get people to pull together and lot of these guys gave up dinner with their families. I missed putting my girls to bed, but these guys pull together every time we need them do their job and we all go home safe," explains Kevin Wheatbrook, Kankakee Township, Assistant Fire Chief.
