The Microsoft Zune Hits Store Shelves

The Microsoft Zune, the computer giant's attempt to compete with Apple's iPod, hits store shelves Tuesday.

The device goes for just under $250.

It lets people share songs, playlists or pictures over a wireless connection with nearby Zune users.

The music service will also allow users to buy songs for 99 cents each.
