New System Could Keep Teen Drivers Safer

Teen drivers are the most dangerous on the road, but now Denmark has found a way to monitor their driving habits and reward them if they are good.

A new project calls for the installation of global positioning equipment in cars of drivers between 18 and 21.

The devices track their speed of and compare it to the speed limit on the road.

If drivers stay beneath the speed limit, they get a big discount on car insurance.

If the GPS shows they broke the speed limit, then it automatically issues a ticket.

A voice module in the system warns the driver they are speeding.
