Veteran's Day Parade Turns Tragic

A Veteran's Day celebration turns tragic in Michigan after a motorcycle runs into a crowd of spectators.

It happened yesterday in Eastpointe, during the town's annual parade.

Police say a 56-year-old man, who was in the parade, lost control of his bike, and ran into a crowd of at least 50 people.

11 people were hurt, including five children.

According to one witness, the motorcyclist looked like he did not know where to go. "One guy he didn't know he was supposed to turn and he was going straight and he was finally supposed to turn and so he decided to try and turn but he lost control of the motorcycle. It went into a crowd of people who were standing on the corner and a lot of people got hurt."

Formal charges are expected to be filed today.
