It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at City Plaza in Granger.
Stores within city plaza held a holiday open house this weekend to kick-off the holiday season.
Specials on gifts, gourmet food and even an ice sculpture were part of the event!
Jean Humphreys owns Somerset House, which is a store in city plaza; Humphreys said the open house was a success.
“It's a great way to get new clients in the door that would normally not realize that we're here. So, it's great exposure. It's also a fun time for families to come out because we've got Santa that comes and visits. We've got all the food sampling, all the fun, the music, it's just a really nice time to be at City Plaza."
Humphreys also reminds people to start their holiday shopping early.
She says many stores buy in limited quantities to make gifts more exclusive. If you procrastinate you may wind up empty handed.
