Granholm Re-elected

Michigan's current governor will be in office for another four years.
Jennifer Granholm won re-election by a margin of about a half million votes.

Granholm took time Wednesday to thank her supporters at a restaurant in Detroit.

The governor now vows to submit a new plan for universal access to health care for Michigan residents.

She says she also plans to revamp the business tax structure in the state and work on rewarding merit scholarships to every child in Michigan.

One of the big themes of this election was the economy.

Michigan has one of the worst in the nation.
