Donnelly Wins Race for Congress

On Election Night, Joe Donnelly beat incumbent challenger, Chris Chocola in the race for 2nd District.

Chocola conceded the race at approximately 9:22 p.m. EST, declaring Donnelly the winner.

Donnelly will be Indiana’s next 2nd District Congressman.

He received 55% of the vote, while Chocola received 45%.

On Election Night at the Westside Democratic Club, Donnelly told his supporters that his campaign was all about one thing, “changing America.”

“I am incredibly grateful for the people of this district, and I want to thank Mr. Chocola for his years of service,” Donnelly said.

“How does it feel?” asked NewsCenter 16’s Robert Borelli.

“It’s a great feeling,” Donnelly replied. “All I want to do is work hard for the people of this district. That’s all.”
