Are the days of chair throwing, name calling, and disorder over in Roseland?
“Not until January 1st,” says new Roseland Town Council Member, Ted Penn.
That’s when he takes office.
“My wife said people are looking at me for hope. All they had was David and Dorothy and abuse,” said Penn.
The infamous husband/wife duo won't be in control anymore.
“It’s them and there reign is now [it’s] coming to an end,’ said Penn.
However, the Snyder’s say current member, Charley Shields and Penn are the new Snyder’s.
“The very same person who has thrown that at us for two years, two years and stirred up everything with lawsuits has said, ‘oh well Charlie and I will be running things’,” said Dorothy Snyder.
Penn responded, “Well, I'm not married to Charley; I don't live in the same house.”
“If they agree, I think it will only be the second time in history they've agreed,” said David Snyder. “The first time was they had to get the Snyder’s,” which they did, but not for good because Dorothy will be at all the meetings.
“We hear that there will be respect for everybody and everybody will be allowed to speak; that's what we are hearing,” she says with a laugh.
It’s laughter that indicates maybe this isn't it for the small town with big problems.
“Well it will probably be harder for Mr. Penn to throw one of these chairs,” laughed Dorothy Snyder.
