Wednesday night, a $1 million dollar prize was awarded in Michiana, but it had nothing to do with the lottery.

Wednesday, on the Notre Dame campus, Brazilian Pediatrician, Dr. Zilda Arns Neumann was presented with the Opus Prize.

She was given the $1 million dollar prize for her innovative health program for the poor.

The award, named for the Opus Retail Development Group of Minneapolis, is presented each year by a catholic university.
