A much awaited announcement from Indiana's junior Senator won't come before Christmas.
Senator Evan Bayh has been mentioned as possible Democratic candidate for president in 2008.
He says he wants to let the dust settle in Washington before announcing his decision.
Bayh was in the area recently to help stump for now Congressman-elect Joe Donnelly.
