If you are interested in voting on an absentee ballot this election, you have one more week to get your application in if you are doing so by mail.
Absentee ballots by mail must be postmarked by midnight, on October 30th.
Otherwise you can do it in person at two locations, in St. Joseph County at the County City Building, or the Mishawaka County Service Building.
So far, the absentee ballot board says they have been very busy processing absentee ballots.
You must already be registered to vote in Indiana in order to get an absentee ballot.
“You just request it, we'll send you an application. You complete the application, return it to us. If we verify that you are registered voter in St. Joe County, we'll mail you a ballot,” Marilyn Rzesewski of the Absentee Ballot Board explained.
If you have any questions about voting in St. Joseph County, call 235-9101 or 235-9105.
Election Day is just two weeks from Tuesday, on Tuesday, November 7th.
