When you think of Asian fusion restaurants you might think of them being in cities like New York, LA, or Miami but believe it or not there is one in downtown South Bend, called Club Noma.

It’s a little bit of Asian, it's a little bit of trendy, but it's a whole lot of flavor.

Club Noma is South Bend's newest hip eatery, and it's not only the taste that sets them apart.

"The presentation I don't think you can find anything like this around here," said Executive Chef Nong Chantaiangkuin. "The first impression is the furniture, the dining room, like I said the jellyfish tank.”

Club Noma is only open for dinner and is part club while the other half is a unique restaurant with all sorts of mouth-watering dishes.

“The salmon, the pork chop, filet mignon, and shrimp and scallops are the best,” said Chef Chantaiangkuin.

On this day, the chef is preparing one of the most popular dishes, salmon with bread crusted potato croquet and white asparagus.

It's an exotic flavor from the other side of the world but right here in our own backyard.

“Because there is no one around here that cooks the way I cook," says Chef Chantaiangkuin. "What I keep hearing people say is South Bend needs something like this.”

Club Noma is located in downtown South Bend.

If you're heading over there, it's on north Michigan Street, south of Colfax across from the Marriott.
