The Windy City got a taste Tuesday of the controversy surrounding President Obama's Notre Dame commencement speech.
Activist Randall Terry protested at the offices of two members of the Notre Dame Board of Fellows. He says his message to them is simple: "Cancel President Obama, dismiss President Jenkins."
He believes that the president -- who is pro-choice -- has no business speaking at a Catholic university that is pro-life.
Terry says the university had no business inviting him.
"Notre Dame's mission as a Catholic institution is to uphold Catholic teaching and to defend the lives of the innocent. President Obama, with his policies, is shedding the blood of the innocent around the globe," Terry explained. "So to invite him is treachery against the mission of the school and treachery against the innocent who are dying."
Terry says he will continue a nation-wide protest until President Obama changes his mind about coming to Notre Dame's commencement.
