Product Recalls: IBM Think Pad Notebook Batteries

There are more problems for Sony and its laptop computer batteries. Thursday, IBM announced it is recalling more than half-a-million Sony batteries because they could catch fire.

The rechargeable, lithium-ion batteries are for the IBM Think Pad Notebook Computers.

About 168,000 were sold in the United States.

In the past few months, nearly seven million Sony batteries have been recalled by various computer-makers.
