On Sunday, four hair salons in St. Joe County donated time and profits to the Madison Center's S-O-S, a program that helps victims of sexual assault.
People could stop by and get a cheap haircut, manicure, or massage, with funds going to S-O-S.
"I think it's good when you can use your skills to help out, as opposed to just donating a check," explained Salon 301's hair stylist Hilary Ballard.
"I'm out here because I really think this is a good program. I work for Madison Center in the pharmacy and I try to support it every year," said Mary Blackburn, who stopped by to get a manicure.
The salons that donated their services this weekend include Hannah's Changes in Attitude in South Bend, Emblazon Salon in South Bend, Salon 301 in Mishawaka, and Beehive in Granger.
If you couldn't make it out Sunday and would like to donate to S-O-S, you can call their office at the Madison Center at 574-283-1309.
