On May 6th, during a D.A.R.E. golf outing, 10th grader Seth Taylor was working at Whispering Pines Golf Course. At the end of the day, Seth found about $20 bill lying on the ground.
He remembered a little girl who had been receiving tips for giving pop and water to the golfers earlier in the day. He turned the money over to Officer Dave Sult who was able to return it to the little girl.
Seth could have easily kept the cash, but instead did the right thing by trying to find the owner of the money.
In his spare time, Seth works at the golf course and on his family's farm.
He received the Academic Excellence Award last year for his grades' at school.
When he graduates, Seth wants to study engineering.
