Two children from Kosciusko County were located yesterday in Louisiana with their non-custodial mother after first being reported missing in September.
Bhrett, 7, and Breydan Weese, 4, were located by deputies in Hayes, Lousiana after the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department received a tip this week from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The two children had been missing since September 3, when they were last seen with their mother.
Their mother, 27-year-old April Haywood, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for “interfering with custody.”
Haywood is currently being held in Louisiana, pending extradition to Indiana.
