Police warning drivers to stay off snowy roads
With around a foot of snow coming down in some areas, Michiana police are warning you to stay off the roads.

With around a foot of snow coming down in some areas, Michiana police are warning you to stay off the roads.
This picture was sent to us by Melissa Schumann in South Bend. As you can see, the snow came down quicker Saturday than crews could get roads cleared off.
Emergency crews have been busy all day with car accidents. Right now the Toll Road is snow covered, but fine if drivers use caution.
Roads in Berrien County are very slick just about everywhere, and in St. Joseph County several slide-offs have been reported because people were driving too fast.
South of our area, ice and freezing rain have been causing problems.
Some roads around Indianapolis have been deemed undriveable by police.
