Victims named in Wednesday's fatal Cleveland Road crash

We now know the names of two people killed Wednesday in a crash on Cleveland Road.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. near the intersection of Cleveland and Nadine street.

Police say 46-year old Edward Jones lost control of his Lincoln and crossed the centerline into the path of the SUV.

Jones died at the scene. His passenger, 86-year-old Millia Ross, later died at the hospital.

Both were from Dowagiac.

Two people in the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say weather is to blame for the crash. Slick roads caused a number of accidents throughout the day on Wednesday.

A portion of Cleveland Road was closed part of the day due to this accident.

At the time of the accident the roadway was snow-covered and icy.
