The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says the human remains found last week are those of Terrance Boushon.
The 41-year old Boushon was last seen in May 2005 in the Withee area.
He had just recently moved there.
Taylor County Chief Deputy Bruce Daniels says although the missing person's case is now solved, the investigation continues into how Boushon died.
The crime lab is still working on that, and for now they're not ruling anything out, including the possibility of foul play.
Boushon's remains were discovered in the Town of Chelsea near Medford last Wednesday (6/28/06).
They were recovered by a team from the state crime lab in Wausau and taken to Madison for analysis.
Terrance Boushon was first reported missing to Clark County authorities last July.
