Escambia County authorities say a homemade bomb was found in a high school basketball coach's home mailbox.
Benny Washington is the coach at Woodham High School. He says his son found the device while checking the mail Sunday. No one was injured.
Washington is serving a 12-week suspension issued by the Florida High School Athletic Association for two infractions stemming from Woodham's semifinal game in the District 1 4-A tournament.
