Kim Biskupski loves two things--cooking and her son Skyler.

"I just want to put the two loves together," Kim Biskupski says.

Skyler is 15-years-old and has down syndrome. Kim has a vision to open a restaurant and hire Skyler, as well as other handicapped community members.

"There's not a lot of jobs out there for the handicapped and that's what I want to do, I want to help them find jobs," Kim explains.

As Kim talks about her job as a cook at Red Lobster for the last 21 years, you know she loves cooking. But as she squeezes Skyler in her arms, or as they swing hands walking down the road, there's no doubt where her heart is.

"I would do the world for him...That's why I..." Kim stops and then looks at Skyler smiling.

"I would buddy...I would do the world for you."

Before Kim is able to buy the house, she's looking for the community's help with supplies, resources, or participation. She can be contacted at (574) 621-2833.
