With just one ticket, you could be the winner of a brand new house in St. Joseph County.
It's part of the 22nd Annual House Raffle organized by the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. It's a fundraiser for the Sister Maura Brannick Health Center and the Women's Care Center to help the uninsured or working poor.
The house is only half way done. It's being built by Place Builders and has 4 bedrooms, a 3 car garage and is valued at $350,000. It's located in a subdivision called Bradford Shores.
“It's growing in a way that's it's never gotten old,” says Ann Rathburn from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. “It's a fundraiser it's sells out so quickly. It's a great exciting raffle, even in a week we will sell out
“It's for a great cause bottom line,” says Place Builder Andy Place. “It's for a great cause and anything we can do to the help we do.”
Tickets go on sale Tuesday March 5. The odds of winning are one in 94. The second prize is a new car and there are 40 other cash prizes.
