BRISTOL A man who was convicted of murdering a young woman back in 2008 has lost his appeal of the case.
32-year-old Tyrice Halliburton was sentenced to life in prison for brutally murdering his neighbor, 23-year-old Sheena Kiska inside her Bristol home. Halliburton reportedly told jail inmates that she walked in on him as he was robbing her apartment. Kiska's 4-year-old daughter found her mother's body, torn apart by more than 50 knife wounds and blunt force trauma to the head.
Halliburton's lawyers appealed the conviction, saying prosecutors showed evidence that was wasn't permissible in court -- things like gruesome photos that weren't relevant to the case.
According to The Elkhart Truth, Indiana's Supreme Court disagreed and upheld Halliburton’s conviction.
