A two-vehicle car crash killed one person and seriously injured another after an accident on Monday.
The accident occurred on Monday around 10:43 a.m. at US 35 and John St. in Knox.
According to the Knox Police Department, a northbound Ford passenger car had crossed the center line striking a southbound mini-van.
The passenger car was occupied by a male and female and the mini-van was occupied by one male. The driver of the passenger car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The driver of the mini-van was treated for injuries at IU Starke Hospital.
Names are currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
While alcohol is not believed to be a factor, the crash remains under police investigation.
