The big names came out in full force for the Hannah & Friends Gala and Golf Classic this weekend.

Charlie and Maura Weis had to be thrilled with the turnout.

The great event concluded with a golf scramble Saturday at Warren Golf Course with the likes of Brady Quinn, Lou Holtz, Joe Theismann and Mike Golic participating.

On Friday night, the Gala was held where Hannah & Friends supporters bid on the favorite Irish celebrity they most wanted to be partnered with for a round of golf.

Then came Saturday when those donations were honored.

Quinn was hoping to get some practice in before the golfing began but every time he tried, a familiar face brought a friendly distraction.

As Quinn was set to talk with Newscenter 16, he received a tap on his shoulder. When he turned around, there was his former coach Charlie Weis waiting for a hug.

Meanwhile, Theismann and Holtz were the stars of the pre-game festivities. The two were a riot as they exchanged friendly one liners at each other.

Theismann even threatened to tell a story to everyone around that Holtz did not want him to bring up. Theismann promised those in his group that he would tell them on the course.

Of course, Theismann's main duties were not to mess with Holtz but rather Mike Golic. Theismann joked that his number one goal was to make sure Golic did not win.

Weis echoed those statements just before the golfing began.

Among the others in attendance were former Irish lineman Mike Rosenthal, members of the Notre Dame coaching staff, women's basketball coach Muffet McGraw and Interim Athletic Director Missy Conboy.

While the golfing was going on outside, Maura Weis hosted a luncheon inside the clubhouse.
