Hundreds of people in Starke and Pulaski County are dealing with dented homes and cars after a hail storm hit Wednesday night.
Brian Pilarski of Francesville says he woke up this morning to see parts of his house in his front yard.
Large pieces of hail hit the home, causing the siding to break off and even broke a window.
A neighbor across the street saved some of the hail in his freezer.
“I'm 77 years old and I've never seen it this big. Something to remember and save it for our grandkids,” says Perry Neithousei who saved the hail in his freezer.
Francesville homeowner Brian Pilarski said he “came out to see glass in the front yard and looked up at the daughter’s room window and it was cracked and I was just assuming that it was because we had very large hail last night."
No serious damage has been reported.
Insurance agents say they've been swamped with calls from clients looking to filing claims.
