An Edwardsburg man who pleaded guilty to setting fire to a building earlier this year has been sentenced, according to the Niles Daily Star.
A judge ordered Adam Sheneman, 23, to spend the next five years in prison and pay more than $700,000 in restitution.
His co-defendant, Connor Lee, 20, is also facing charges in the crime.
The blaze started at a storage facility in the 27,000block of Max Street back on February 15.
Sheneman and Lee poured a large amount of diesel fuel on the ground and set fire to the building.
They also did damage to and stole property from three other businesses nearby.
Police caught up with them several blocks away, after they were tipped off about two people seen walking down the street in the area of the fire.
