Elkhart County, Ind. Elkhart County Police broke up a loud party Friday night that resulted in the arrests of 17 people, who were underage.
Police were called to the 27000 block of Lamplighter Lane in Elkhart where they found multiple people under 21 drinking alcohol. 14 of the 17 were between the ages of 18 and 20, and were ticketed and released. Three others, who were 16 and 17, were released to their parents.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Teenage Alcohol Reduction Team is made up of officers from the sheriff's department with a main goal to reduce underage drinking and smoking.
