ELKHART, Ind. -- A 14-year-old boy who suffered critical injuries in an Elkhart crash earlier this month is doing much better.
He has been upgraded from critical to fair condition, according to reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.
Mark Rich suffered a head injury on June 7.
He was inside a Mini Cooper when an SUV hit it at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Sunnyside in Elkhart.
The driver of the Mini Cooper ran a red light.
The other people in the car were also injured, but their injuries weren't life threatening.
